This weekend was an in-person and Zoom hosted quarterly forum. This time of fellowship and learning was brought to you by the Ministerial Council of the General Council Churches of God, (Seventh Day) and was hosted by the Meridian Chruch of God 7th Day, Meridian, Idaho.

The weekend included:

  • Three sermons, one on Friday evening and two on Sabbath.
    • Byron Sanchez –“The Church of God: Preserved by God for 2000 Years – A History Lesson” (Isaiah 40:6-8; 55:10-11)
    • Jody Crowson – “Is There Really Nothing New Under the Sun? The State of Society and the Church of God After the Last Three Years.” (Ecclesiastes 1:4-11)
    • Russ McCrea – “Looking Forward: Leading Believers to Grow Their Faith in 2024” (Hebrews 10:23-25)
  • A teaching/discussion session on Saturday evening (via Zoom) addressed “Societal Trends in 2024 and Their Impact on Churches” – Panel Members – David Decker, Denrick Rose, Ezra Ledger; Moderator – Earl Rice
  • A teaching/discussion session on Sunday morning (via Zoom) discussed, “What Are Solutions to the Challenges the Church Faces Today?” – Panel Members – Craig Moore, David Stucker, Don Gibson; Moderator – Rodney Boone
  • A summary session on Sunday evening (via Zoom) wrapped up the weekend.
