Lesson Aim: To highlight significant points of the past 12 lessons.

Key Points
-	Our thinking is critical to how we cope with and utilize change.
-	Satan’s initial attack takes place in the battlefield of the mind.
-	The mind of Christ is characterized by: love, humility, servitude and obedience.
-	Studying, saying and obeying the written Word of God are essential to renewing the mind.
-	Knowing God’s will for your life is critical to having purpose and meaning in your life.
-	Our faith is upheld by the image we have of God’s Word.
-	Our thought patterns and attitudes, emotions and habits, desires and appetites have to be constantly converted from negative to positive.

During the past 12 weeks we have looked at how our thinking is a critical component of our experiencing trans-formation. Let’s review some of the things we learned. At the beginning of the quarter, we considered the battlefield of the mind and became aware of the strategies of Satan. We learned that in order to win the battle of the mind, we need to think and act like Jesus.

When we have the mind of Christ, our thoughts and our lives will be characterized by love, humility, servitude and obedience. However, keeping the “mind of Christ” requires constant renewal in the Word of God. It is the same Word that helps us guard our minds from the fiery darts and pollutants of the adversary.

We have learned that peace of mind is available to every believer because God promised to keep us in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him. We were made aware of the pitfalls of impressions and perceptions.

As we closed the quarter, we were encouraged to know and understand our destiny from God’s point of view. Find your purpose, exercise your faith and picture yourself living in obedience to God’s Word and in the promises of God. Finally, the essence of having a positive mental attitude is to believe.
