Tom Roberts is our Ministry Coordinator with a PhD in Theology.  Tom's further interests are Jewish Christian Theology, Church History, and New & Old Testament backgrounds, to name a few.

Tom is responsible for maintaining communication and goal setting for the Council's ministry and other associates.  These responsibilities revolve around the needs of the local ministry, such as counseling and concepts of program development for local congregations, as well as to promote unity among the ministry as a whole.  Tom is a regular contributor to ACTS Magazine with articles that generally deal with theological research or the current state of church leadership.  His goal is to foster a deeper understanding of scriptural knowledge in Church of God 7th Day traditions, as well as to see our ministry take a more developmental role in the lives of our congregants.  He also serves as an academic advisor to Maranatha College.

At Present, Dr. Roberts is overseeing the development of our "Systematic Theology Project" where 22 researchers are contributing to a deeper scholarly approach to Church Of God 7th Day's theological understanding.
